ABOUT

The Industrial Advisory Board of Geeta Institute of Law is a member-based network of volunteer-leaders/professionals/industrialists that are recognized by society as key leaders in the legal and industry field. It has been established with a commitment to fill the gaps between the Legal academia which largely focuses on black-letter law and the practical aspect on the other hand.

It is intended to help to initiate close interaction between the institute and the industry and is serving as a platform for showcasing best practices, latest technological advancements and their implication.

Through IAB, we expect to improve the quality of legal education adequately and meet the needs of the industry and academia based on cross-fertilization of ideas for system improvement.

PURPOSE OF THE BOARD

• To highlight the curriculum quality.
• To introduce contemporary developments in respective legal areas.
• To emphasize on the holistic development of the students.
• To create knowledgeable and skilled manpower for meeting current and future demands of industry, government, research organizations and entrepreneurial pursuits.
• To create sensitivity to social and professional development.

ROLE OF THE MEMBERS OF THE BOARD

• To work to develop innovative ideas/useful content for expanding and propelling legal knowledge and skills in various programs of GIL.
• From time to time, offer valuable career guidance to the pen-ultimate students of GIL.
• To provide separate mentorship to students interested in Corporate Career.
• To come with contemporary developments in practical legal area and will focus to inculcate them in the teaching pedagogy.
