Geeta Institute of Law strongly emerged as one of the top private law colleges in Haryana, Delhi NCR offering BA. LL.B (Hons.) 5 Years, BBA. LL.B (Hons.) 5 Years, LL.B (3 years), and LL.M (2 years). The institute is located on NH-1 G.T. Road, Panipat, Haryana, India. Just 50 minutes’ drive away from Delhi.
The institute was established by the visionary and a social leader Sh. S.P. Bansal, under the aegis of K.R. Education Society to achieve world-class legal education in the country. His vision for the Law Institute is to provide excellence in Legal Education and to produce quality law Graduates with good moral principles and great human values. The institute was granted affiliation by Kurukshetra University Kurukshetra in 2007 and the affiliation has been approved by the Bar Council of India.
The methods of teaching in the GIL include lecture discussion, case law analysis, moot court training, project assignment, and placement programs. The Institute organizes seminars on contemporary legal issues, conducts clinical courses, and trains students in legal research and legal writing. By the time a student completes the Program, he/she hones the required theoretical knowledge and practical experience in the field of law to become a full-fledged responsible member of the legal profession.

Dr. Subhash Kumar Mittal, Professor and Principal of Geeta Institute of Law, earned his doctorate from Sri Venkateswara University and qualified UGC-NET in 2003. With over 20 years of experience as an academician, he has also practiced as an advocate in District Court for four years. He has presented research papers and chaired over 80 National and International Seminars, coordinated more than 10 National Moot-Court Competitions, and over 20 International & National Seminars and webinars. Additionally, he has supervised 40 dissertations, is a member of advisory boards in reputed journals, authored three books, and published over 15 research papers. His areas of interest include Company Law, Land Laws, Drafting & Pleading, and Conflict of Laws.
