District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Sonipat in collaboration with The Centre for Legal Aid Services, Geeta Institute of Law, Panipat, Delhi-NCR has successfully conducted a workshop cum Awareness Program at Bhagat Phool Singh Mahila Vishwavidyalaya, Khanpur, Sonipat on various issues relating to Women Rights.

The Centre for Legal Aid Service, Geeta Institute of Law, Panipat, Delhi-NCR has successfully conducted the Guest Lecture on “Legal Rights of a Married Daughter over Ancestral Property” on 07 February 2022 at 01:30 PM.

Ms. Namrata Bhatnagar, Lawyer, Supreme Court of India was the speaker who delivered informative knowledge about the Legal Rights of a Married Daughter over Ancestral Property.

Centre for Legal Aid Services, Geeta Institute of Law, Panipat, Delhi-NCR has organized an Awareness Program on “Legal Services to Senior Citizens, Widows & Fundamental Duties” on 23rd October, 2021 in collaboration with District Legal Services Authority (DALSA) at Government Senior Secondary School and Government Primary School, Village Patti Kalyana, Distt. Panipat. Door to Door Awareness has been done by all the GIL Student volunteers under the supervision of Mr. Sahil Kumar, Assistant Director, Centre for Legal Aid Services.

The Centre for Legal Aid Services, Geeta Institute of Law, Panipat, Delhi-NCR has organized an Awareness Program on “NALSA Schemes and Legal Aid Services” on 21st October, 2021 in collaboration with District Legal Services Authority (DALSA).

Mr. Amit Sharma, CJM cum Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Panipat, was Distinguished Guest and Ms. Manju, Advocate, District Court, Panipat were the Distinguished speakers. This awareness program was organized under the supervision of Centres’ Director, Ms Shilpa Sardana and Mr. Sahil Kumar, Assistant Director, Centre for Legal Aid Services.

The Centre for Legal Aid Services of Geeta Institute of Law, Panipat, Delhi-NCR in association with District Legal Service Authority, Panipat (DLSA) has successfully organized Poster making and Article Writing Competition on “Various issues regarding Girl Child and Menstruation Hygiene” on 11 October 2021 on both offline and online mode. .

Centre for Legal Aid Services of (GIL) Geeta Institute of Law, Panipat, Delhi-NCR in association with District Legal Service Authority, Panipat has successfully organized Poster making and Article Writing Competition on “Various issues regarding Girl Child and Menstruation Hygiene” In offline and online mode. Under the supervision of Mr. Sahil Kumar (Assistant Director) Centre for Legal Aid Services, (GIL) and 20 students have actively Participated in Competition through online and offline mode.

The Centre for Legal Aid Services of Geeta Institute of Law, Panipat, Delhi-NCR in association with District Legal Service Authority, Panipat has successfully conducted an Awareness Camp on “Legal Service to Victims of Drug Abuse, Widow & Legal Aid” in Village Karhans, Distt. Panipat on 09 October 2021 under the supervision of Mr. Sahil Kumar, Assistant Director, Centre for Legal Aid Services, Mrs. Sarooj Devi w/o Mr. Ashok Kumar (Sarpanch), Village Karhans, Panipat and 50 Students of Geeta Institute of Law who has actively participated in this Awareness Program.

On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti on 02 October 2021, the Centre for Legal Aid Services of Geeta Institute of Law, Delhi-NCR & District Legal Service Authority, Panipat had successfully conducted an “Awareness Camp” in Village Faridpur, Distt. Panipat under “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” an initiative of the Government of India to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of progressive India and the glorious history of its people, culture and achievements.

The Awareness Camp was organized under the supervision of Mr. Sahil Kumar, Assistant Director, Centre for Legal Aid Services of GIL, Mr. Ajay Gupta (Principal) M.A.S.D Public School, Panipat, Mr. Kulwant (Sarpanch) Village Faridpur, District Panipat and 45 Students of Geeta Institute of Law (GIL) have actively participated in this Awareness Program.

The theme for the Awareness Camp were:

  1. Cleanliness Drive.
  2. Awareness Drive Labour Rights.
  3. Plantation Drive.

The Centre for Legal Aid Services of Geeta Institute of Law, Delhi-NCR, Panipat in collaboration with The District Legal Services Authority, Samalkha had successfully Completed our Awareness Program today at village karhans and civil hospital samalkha. The Awareness Camp was organized under the supervision of Mr. Sahil Kumar, Assistant Director, Centre for Legal Aid Services of GIL, Advocate Sandeep Sharma and Advocate Sanjay Tyagi, District Court Samalkha and 25 Students of Geeta Institute of Law have actively participated in this Awareness Program.

The theme for the Awareness Camp revolved around the following Human Rights issue:

LEGAL LITERACY CAMP FOR SENIOR CITIZENS IN ASSOCIATION WITH DISTRICT LEGAL SERVICE AUTHORITY, PANIPAT- HELD ON 21.08.2019

Awareness Campaigns about Legal Rights to the concerned Citizens is an integral part of legal education.

“Geeta Institute of Law” with its “Centre for Legal Aid Services” organised a Legal Literacy Awareness Camp on Senior Citizens on the auspicious occasion of National Senior Citizen Day celebrated on 21st August in association with “District Legal Service Authority,Panipat” at Eldeco Club, Panipat.

The event started with the skit performance prepared by proud students of Geeta Institute of Law in which they showcased the cruel reality of abuse of senior citizens by their own children and how the authorities like DLSA comes to their rescue by providing them Free Legal Aid .

Further the Senior Citizens were provided pamphlets describing how to approach DLSA for enforcing their legal rights. Also they were addressed by advocate of DLSA about their rights and procedure to contact DLSA.

CJM – Mr. Manoj Kumar addressed the audience too wishing them National Senior Citizen Day and the importance DLSA.

LEGAL AWARENESS VISIT TO VILLAGE MANANA,SAMALKHA IN ASSOCIATION WITH DISTRICT LEGAL SERVICES AUTHORITY, PANIPAT –HELD ON 28.08.2019.

“Centre For Legal Aid Services” of “Geeta Institute of Law” organised a legal awareness visit to village Manana, Samalkha in association with “District Legal Services Authority, Panipat”. The Prime Motto of organising this camp is to aware the general public regarding their fundamental rights and how the DLSA can help them to enforce their fundamental rights. The students of Geeta Institute of Law is actively working with District Legal Services Authority in order to fulfill the essence of our constitution. Free Legal Aid is the essence of our constitution and centre for legal aid services of Geeta Institute of Law is working in the same direction.

We, Deepanshu Latka, BALLB (5.7) and Amman Gupta, LLB (5.3) have attended workshop on drafting, pleadings and conveyancing organised by ICFAI UNIVERSITY, DEHRADUN on 6th and 7th September, 2019. There we have learnt how to draft legal documents such as plaint, written statements, divorce petitions, employment agreements and arbitration agreement. There was also a special Team work building activity namely ICEBREAKER. That was actually great experience.
