The AIBE exam result 2026 is released on 18th July 2026 for the candidates who appeared in the AIBE 21 exam on 7th June 2026. The Certificate of Practice (CoP) is a mandatory certificate for law graduates who have to clear the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) conducted by the Bar Council of India (BCI). The candidates waiting for the AIBE result 2026 must take note that the AIBE 21 exam was conducted in pen and paper mode on June 7, 2026, and the provisional answer key was released on June 10, 2026, while the objection period was closed on June 17, 2026.

  1. The final answer key was then released by the Bar Council of India on July 10, 2026.
  2. AIBE 21 result is declared on 18th July 2026 by Bar Council of India, 1,75,701 candidates appeared and 1,15,805 qualified, an overall pass percentage of 65.92%.

How does the Bar Council of India prepare the AIBE Result?

  • Compiles the OMR responses collected during the offline exam.
  • The objections are examined by the subject experts.
  • The new final answer key is released by accepting/rejecting the objections.

Passing Marks of AIBE 2026

The minimum percentage marks needed to clear the examination for General/OBC category candidates would be 45%, whereas for SC, ST, and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) categories, the passing marks would be 40%, with no questions being withdrawn from the final answer key.

But the BCI Monitoring Committee has lowered the cut-off for all categories by 3 marks in the question paper and result summary, which are: General/OBC = 42, SC/ST/PwD = 37.

How to Download the AIBE Certificate of Practice (CoP)?

  • Log in to the SCOPE Application or the AIBE Candidate Portal.
  • Enter the enrollment details and check the qualifying status from the AIBE 2026 result.
  • CoP is issued through the State Bar Council after verification.
  • The hard copy will be issued at a later date usually 2–3 months after results through the concerned State Bar Council.
