The Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) has released a big update on 21 MAY 2026, which has completely reshaped the timeline for legal aspirants across the state. The commission has announced the Haryana ADA Exam Date 2026. The Screening Test is scheduled for 5 July 2026, and the application window is reopened from 25–29 May 2026 till 5:00 PM.
According to the latest notification, the Prelims exam is now rescheduled for 5 July 2026, and the Mains examination will be held on 9 August 2026.

Revised Exam Syllabus and Pattern for Haryana ADA Exam Date 2026 Syllabus
As per the order of the Hon’ble High Court, in the Screening Test, a minimum of 50% questions will be asked from the subject of Law and 50% from General Studies. Earlier, the pattern initially had 80% Law and 20% General Studies questions, which was later changed to a fully General Studies-based paper. The revised pattern now restores a balanced 50:50 distribution between Law and general subjects.

What is the Process of Haryana ADA Recruitment?
Candidates shall undergo three rounds of selection as follows:
- Screening Test (Objective Test): Preliminary qualifying examination test. Candidates need to qualify with a minimum marks of 25%. Ten times the number of vacancies will be selected for the next round.
- Subject Knowledge Test (Subjective): Main descriptive examination with a weightage of 87.5% in the overall selection.
