In order to become an AOR (Advocate-on-Record) in the Supreme Court of India, it is imperative to complete four years of practice as an advocate. This requires being followed by a 1-year obligatory training under a working AOR. An aspirant then requires passing the difficult AOR examination and establishing a workplace in Delhi that should be within a 16-kilometer radius of the Supreme Court. The eligibility that is required is to get enrolled under the State Bar Council of India. AORs possess the special authority to carry out and file a case in the Supreme Court of India. AORs are responsible for making sure that all partitions follow the strict practice and process rules of the Supreme Court.<\/span><\/p>\n
